Hikvision launches AX PRO for complete wireless alarm solutions

Hikvision, an IoT solutions provider with video as its core competence, has announced its new generation of wireless alarm systems, the AX PRO, offering solutions for complete alarm for residential and commercial applications

The AX PRO product family includes a compact panel hub for a wide range of detectors and peripherals, covering intrusion detection, video verification, smoke detection, flood detection and home automation.

The AX PRO hub itself supports multiple protocols for wireless integration, allowing up to 210 devices to be connected. The panel was designed with two RF (radio frequency) chips, using Tri-X and CAM-X wireless technologies, to block interference between channels and allow fast and reliable transmission of alarm messages simultaneously.

Wide range of detector and peripheral options

Along with the panel, Hikvision has developed a wide range of detectors and sensors to tailor the system to different installation needs, such as passive infrared detector combined glass break detector, security detectors, door contacts, smoke detector, water leak detector, etc.

A PIRCAM wireless passive infrared detector is also available, which detects infrared signals over a range of 12 m and which collects snapshots of any moving object. The PIRCAM is also equipped with LED lighting for high quality imaging in the dark.

Hikvision has created a wide range of devices to maximise user safety. These devices include both static and portable panic button options to ensure occupant safety.

Intruder checking as a service 

If customers wish, the AX PRO Panel Hub can be linked to their IP cameras via the cloud or a sub-stream to initiate Intruder Verification as a Service (IVaaS). This service provides live video verification or 7 second video recording for users to quickly and efficiently confirm alarm events on the system.

Application compatibility 

Users will support and stay connected using the AX PRO since it is fully compatible with Hikvision’s proprietary Hik-Connect app. The app provides voice notifications and video clips to users, and allows them to remotely control and monitor their alarm systems. The AX PRO also supports the Hik-ProConnect app, which can provide full setup assistance for installers and enable them to deliver cloud security solutions and services with customer permission.
