Bauer unveil Unicus 4i, an all-in-one high-pressure breathing-air system

Bauer Compressors announced its new, revolutionary technology in the Unicus 4i in Norfolk, Virginia USA on 2 January 

Bauer Compressors have been manufacturing high pressure compressors for over 70 years. Since humble beginnings in Munich, Germany, on 2 January 2017, Bauer launched its latest innovation. 

The Unicus 4i is the latest in revolutionary technology. It is a all-in-one high-pressure breathing-air system. The Unicus 4i is designed to provide fire fighters with a piece of all-in-one, high tech system which is simple, efficient and secure. 

The Unicus 4i has a number of integrated features to achieve this. These include a 12 inch HMI integrated touch screen, Bauer's proprietary Gas-Tek gas monitoring system*, RFID Readers between system and the cylinders* and Lab on Locale 2 for real-time air sampling and testing*. Working in unison, this gives the user greater confidence and security when using the Bauer Unicus 4i.
