Unifrax Launches next-generation Insulfrax® LTX Products

Industrial

Unifrax I LLC has launched its next-generation Insulfrax® LTX Products, aiming to improve both thermal performance and product handling

According to the company, the lightweight needled blankets combine proprietary technology to create low-biopersistent Insulfrax blanket.

The LTX fibre performance aims to help companies reduce their energy costs and meet carbon emission targets, without increasing the amount of insulation required. Alternatively, customers can save on material costs by using less insulation to achieve the same performance as standard AES blankets.

Insulfrax LTX Blankets have been designed to handle and cut resulting in faster installation, with less skin irritation and reduced waste of material, said the company.

“This new product has been designed to offer significantly lower thermal conductivity than our current Insulfrax S blanket product, and as much as 20 per cent lower when compared to other standard insulation wools,” explained Phillip Armstrong, product manager at Unifrax Rainford in the UK.

Unifrax is the vertically integrated fiber manufacturer that aims to provide customers with a range of fibre chemistries and product offerings with various thicknesses and weight, to operate at various use temperatures. The company also delivers technical, application engineering and customer service support.
