4EVAC to debut at Firex 2019

Events

evac4EVAC Ltd, a voice alarm (VA) and public address (PA) specialist, will make its debut at Firex 2019 from 18-20 June in Excel, London

As the UK 4EVAC distributor, the company has more than 30 years of experience and will exclusively offer the unique product portfolio of 4EVAC, including its popular Compact 500 networked box on a wall, the new IMPACT system and its innovative LoopDrive FIM.

4EVAC supplies a modern family of products based on the ‘plug and play’ principle. By offering modular systems, 4EVAC has designed its products to meet the demands of both installers and users.

The IMPACT concept takes existing 4EVAC technology and presents it as a modular, scalable solution. The 4EVAC manager programming application configures all modules, including the DCA-2.500 amplifier and the new CONTROLLER. The interchangeable nature of COMPACT 500 and IMPACT allows users to integrate them to create a powerful and tailor-made solution.

IMPACT is able to distribute messages to more zones using fewer amplifiers over multiple loudspeaker lines. The DCA-2.500 amplifier itself sits in a 19-inch 2U rack. Apart from conventional power amplifiers, the DCA2.500 features an in-built scalable battery charger with an EN54-4 compliant temperature sensor. Up to three DCA-2,500 amplifiers can be stacked together, sharing a single battery pack, providing back-up and recharging capabilities.

The DCA-2.500 amplifier delivers 2×500 W outputs, but it can also be bridged into a single output of 1000W. The DCA-2.500 is a Class-D unit and complies with the EN54-16 and EN54-4 standards.

John Inkster, general manager, 4EVAC UK Ltd, said, “The opportunity to work with the team at 4Evac was one we just couldn’t turn down. The knowledge and experience that has been used to design this family of life safety audio products are there for all to see. Simple to configure yet powerful and flexible, we believe that 4Evacs entry into the UK market will be a game changer for a market that has become stagnant and dominated by just a few manufacturers.”

Albert Van der Hout, head of business development at 4EVAC’s Netherlands HQ, added, “This is a great opportunity to build the 4EVAC brand and reputation in the UK and features as part of our growing partnerships internationally.”
