New cubicle showers for hazardous conditions

Showers & Eyebaths Services Limited has introduced a cubicle shower to safeguard employees working in hazardous conditions

The GES1P cubicle shower is made out of glass-reinforced plastic and stainless steel, making it corrosion-resistant. Each unit is designed to contain water and protect the person from external conditions. The shower can be used when a worker’s body or eyes are exposed to toxic chemicals or irritants.

The devices are ATEX/GOST-certified and run on electricity. Each unit requires around 220 to 240 volts. They can be used in temperatures ranging from -10ºC to 60ºC, said company officials.

The cubicle shower is also equipped with frost protection, eyebath flexible eyewash, alarms and sirens, spring-loaded doors, lamps, shower foot platform, pressure-reducing valves, drain sump pumps and changing rooms as well.
